Los jóvenes pueden hacer muchísimas cosas durante todo el año. Pueden ir a las playas. En un reportaje de las Naciones Unidas dijeron que de todas las playas del mundo pocas tienen las aguas tan transparentes y las arenas tan blancas que parece un fantasía.
Por eso se conocen, por sus finas arenas blancas, por sus majestuosos paisajes naturales de abundantes palmeras de coco y gente hospitalaria y pacífica, alegres y amistosas (ya desde por la mañana se escuchan los trabajadores haciendo música con sus instrumentos de trabajo, cantando la canción de los dominicanos?
Lo mejor de todo, el clima, siempre está a tu favor. Es maravilloso, tropical, con temperaturas, en verano, que oscilan entre 25º y 28º y en invierno en torno a los 23º.
Prácticamente encontraremos el sol todas las épocas del año. Además, la música, para mí maravillosa. El baile más conocido como nacional es el merengue. Es la más difundida porque es un ritmo contagioso y alegre. Hay otros ritmos muy populares como la salsa, la mangulina y carabiné.
Hablando del deporte; como aquí en España el fútbol, allí es el béisbol; como aquí es el Real Madrid y el Barça allí son Tigres del Licey, Leones del Escogido y Águilas Cibaeñas.
En resumen, no hay tiempo para aburrirse".

Above all, the Weather, always between 25 and 28 C in summer, and about 23 in winter.
It will probably be sunny all over the year. Furthermore, music is wonderful, at least for me. The most well-known national dance is Merengue. It is the most popular due to its happy and contagious rythm. There are other popular rythms such as salsa, mangulina and carabine.
