Is chemo really worth it?

I was always on the lookout for public relations in my family, being she, the most important of all. From very young present different respiratory problems. One day I was diagnosed with lung cancer, better known as Malignant Mesothelioma, being one of the difficult ones of all. I have been attending the chemo for years, but without seeing any result, so my question is, ¿do I really need this? I have spent large sums of money throughout all these years, without seeing any result.
