Hard Rock puts back opening of permanent Bristol casino
Hard Rock has decided to postpone by six months.
US - Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol has announced that it is delaying the grand opening of its $550 million permanent casino and resort space in Virginia, originally scheduled for July. It will now open later this year when the entire project is complete.
Hard Rock was granted the six-month delay because it met two requirements for the extension: the fact that the temporary casino will be part of the permanent casino and that financial commitments have been met.
In a press release, the company said: “Instead of opening the permanent casino in phases beginning in July, the partnership team prefers a grand opening with a fully operational casino and amenities for an overall better guest experience.”
Ally Evangelista, president of Hard Rock Bristol, said: “The July opening was intended to fulfill two years of regulatory compliance while operating as a temporary facility. July 8, 2024 will be our two-year anniversary of operating this facility, after which we will be required to operate in a permanent facility.”
“The biggest advantage is the customer experience. Because we can open all at once, we can offer and deliver the Hard Rock product, and if we only had the casino open, there's a wow factor that only gamers can enjoy. This way, when the hotel is ready to open, we can welcome guests who are coming for different reasons all at once.”
Evangelista said construction of the hotel is going well. The casino is hiring for a variety of positions. The project includes a 303-room hotel with a spa and indoor and outdoor pools, and a casino with more than 1,500 slot machines and 75 gaming tables. 무료슬롯사이트
