Non-adapted novel

I think I´ve got an intermediate english level. I would like to read a non-adapted english novel, but I find them very difficult! Is there any NON ADAPTED novel (or essay) you think it wouldn´t be difficultd for me to read? Could you please recommend any one?
For example: "The boy in stripped pyjama" is fine, it has an easy language but the problem is that I have already read it in spanish! Is there anyone similar?
Thank you

Well, from my experience I've concluded that, when you're learning a foreign language, it'svery recommendable that you are in contact with it as much as possible. It's a very good idea that you've decided to read non-adapted novels, but you also have to consider the inconveniences. The disadvantage is no other than the difficulty to understand some expressions or words you've never seen before. You say you're an intermediate student, so in fact you shouldn't have so much difficulty, but it depends on the choice you make when you decide in one title or the other.
My recommendation is that you read in English what you've read in Spanish, for the simple reason of focusing on the vocabulary and expressions themselves, not so much on the plot. Nevertheless, if you still insist in reading a novel you haven't read before, any novel by Charles Dickens (if you go for the classics) or by Stephen King (if you prefer more contemporary novels) are very good sources for learning new vocabulary, if that is your goal.  In this way, novels such as Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, Cujo, Carrie, and others are good for starters.
Good luck with your learning. I hope I've helped you.
Regards
