Es una placer poder hacerte la siguiente preguntaacerca del lenguaje de Ingles en especial su gramatica:
SLOW es un adjetivo como todos sabemos.Si deseo convertirlo en adverbio seria la colocacion de LY entonces seria SLOWLY, como tambien funcionaria con RAPID:RAPIDLY ahora porque no es posible decir FASTLY ya que como todos sabemos esto es totalmente incorrecto en el Idioma de Ingles mi pregunta concreta seria ¿when can I convert an adjetive into and Adverb, in many cases It`s is very difficult for me, as an english teacher to explain this unit to my students because they have many doubts. Well, unfortunaly there is not rule for transform an adjective in a adverb in "universal" form, you told me that is necessary add the ending LY, but exist some few exceptions to that rule, you must learn them one by one, the example that you wrote is a cause of its spelling is difficult, if you want I can research what words don't follow the rule...
