Instalacion de postgres

Despues de descomprimir el archivo en la carpeta postgresql-8.1.4 pongo ./configure y me aparece esto :

Ok, necesitas instalar el bison y el flex. Puedes instalar los paquetes de tu distribución.
Instalalos y vuelve a dar el configure, pegame la salida si vuelve a fallar.
Muchisimas gracias al final trate de instalar el readline y nada pero despues use la opcion without-readline y anduvo no sabes bien los pasos de instalacion y de como se usa el postgresql
sigue igual me pone esto

Mira que instale bison y flex
Si te fijas bien el error no es el mismo, ahora te falta instalar readline, o por el contrario hacer el configure poniendo --without-readline, para que compile sin soporte para readline.
Instalalo y vuelve a darle al configure.
