Experiencia

I finished my PhD at the Biomedical Image Analysis, Technical University of Eindhoven, in the low lands, a.k.a. The Netherlands. My dissertation, defend in 19th of April 2011, was on topic 'Homogeneity based segmentation and enhancement of Diffusion Tensor Images - A white matter processing framework'.

I've finished my Engineering degree (MsC level) in Computer Science at the University of Minho, in 2004, at Portugal.

Apart from my research career, I had a couple of industry positions as software engineer. First, in an innovative mobile development company, MobiComp, in Portugal. Then, in The Netherlands, at Quintiq, a company specialized in advanced planning and scheduling solutions.
