Hi expert

I have a problem. My problem is because I need to know if there is any Law or Rule that stablishes the following:
For example:
Slow: Slowly
Adjetive=Adverb
fast: Fast.
when do you have to put LY to an adjetive?
Why does "fast" remain the same?
What is the difference between Do end Make?
thanks very much

Hi!
Well, about the first question, I´m sorry but, as far as I know, there´s not any rule. You just have to learn it by reading (and memorising) lists of adjectives-adverbs.
The difference between do and make is quite a problem. Again the best thing is to read MUCH English and you will soon learn it. But generaly speaking we could say that make has a more physical meaning while "do" is more abstract.
You make things with your hands, for example; and do "general" things, not very precise (I´ve done that, I´ll do it...).
Is not a rule as we know it, but there is not a rule about this respect :(
Sorry.
Bye!
