Por donde seguir?
Hi.. I am living in USA since 6 years ago.
Hablo español como mi primera lengua.
I still learning english on the streets and also going to english school.
My problem is that i dont feel like going anymore further in my learning.
I mean, there are a lot of words that i need to add to my dictionary in my head, and the words that i had learned are enough to speak with someone, .. But the problem comes when i have to organize certain sentences... The way to build them, and make the line to be correct. I think that i try to use the same mechanism and just translate words like in spanish.. Even if i already know many rules to tell the line in the english mechanism.. The rest is going to be in incorrect translated spanish.
There are 6 levels in my english school. I just started in 5th level..
But the system stills being the same. They teach gramma, make you to read articles, sumarize them, find new words, sometimes hear a song and try to catch as many words as possible, and stuff like that.
What the teacher said is to read A LOT of books or anything in english on the internet, so this way, we will be able to understand the mechanisms to construct sentences in a correct way... But i am reading stuff since many years on the internet, and i dont feel like i still learning from just reading.
I think the main problem is, that i learned to just "guess" the parts that are not really clear for me, then i will understand the rest and finally have a clear idea of the whole thing... But that is not correct right?
Gracias.
