Hola ! Ya se que a lo mejor no es tu tema .Pero en fin voy a plantearte lo que me pasa a ver si me puedes Ayudar.
He instalado Apche con el paquete Apche JServ para que soporte servlets sobre Windows 2000. Y al comprobar si la instalación ha sido correcta.
http://127.0.0.1/jserv/
Me da un error
403 Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /jserv/ on this server.
Este es mi problema, no se que puedo haber hecho mal durante la instalación o configuración.

Ciertamente no es mi campo, ya que en cuanto a servidores trabajo más con sistemas unix/linux. Pero ese error no es muy difícil de interpretar.
Según el RFC 2616 el error numero 403 dice:

10.4.4 403 Forbidden
The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it.
Authorization will not help and the request SHOULD NOT be repeated.
If the request method was not HEAD and the server wishes to make public why the request has not been fulfilled, it SHOULD describe the reason for the refusal in the entity. If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 404 (Not Found) can be used instead.

Obviamente el servidor no quiere enviar la página, generalmente por un problema de permisos. Verifica pues los permisos del directorio /jserv. Ese directorio debe ser visible desde la web.
Más no puedo ayudarte, no trabajo con windows, pero estoy seguro que es un problema de eso.

Muchas gracias la verdad es que te escribí por que decías que si no lo sabias buscarías la respuesta. Y la verdad es que lo has hache además de ser rápido en contestar. Voy ahora a ver si soluciono mi dichoso problema que mne lleva de cabeza
